St Michael’s hospice plans to generate over £300,000 a year from the Crackerjackpot lottery, which helps us work alongside our community, on a mission to ensure that adults in Herefordshire and the surrounding areas, benefit from palliative and end-of-life care when needed. This includes supporting loved ones throughout bereavement and beyond.
Beryl’s story
Andrew Karney’s wife, Beryl, had devoted her life to dancing. As a professional ballet dancer, the stage was her home.
Yet when she received care and support from St Michael’s Hospice following a breast cancer diagnosis, she didn’t allow this passion to diminish.
